The day started off with a little June gloom but the sun came out which made for perfect fair weather.

Brides July 2010

Kristen & Jen's Brooklyn wedding was featured in the July 2010 issue of Brides magazine! Take a look at my shots that were included in the article below (outlined in orange).

Katie & Tom

Today we re-visited the spot where Tom popped the question to Katie. We had fun, although Tom may disagree, as a wave got the better of him. Despite the windy conditions Tom and Katie were good sports and I hope they enjoy to photos!

Art Around Adams

Del Mar Fair

Look for my photograph of little Goldie at the Del Mar Fair's photography exhibition. The fair runs from June 11th to July 5th at the Del Mar Fair Grounds.

Garden

This weekend I was able to catch up on some gardening and snapped some pictures this morning. This is year two of the garden and I choose to start everything from seed. Sugar snap peas are definitely looking better than last year. The broccoli plant that survived the critter problem is starting to form a head. Huckleberries are just starting to bloom as well as the heirloom tomatoes. Summer squash is starting to form and good old kale keeps growing no matter what happens. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Ayla has Arrived!

Stephanie & Eric just celebrated their one year wedding anniversary and the arrival of their baby, Ayla. It was a blast photographing Ayla, she may be small but she is bursting with personality! She is quite the celebrity around San Diego at just 2 weeks old, making appearances at ArtWalk and a television debut!

Yosemite

Just got back from a trip up to Yosemite National Park. We got there just after a big spring snow storm so it was beautiful and chilly. Below are a few pictures from the trip.

Painting... from my photo

This weekend I spent some time at Canyon Crest Academy with some amazing teenage artists. They are part of the school's Conservatory program  which features visiting artists. Friday through to Saturday was their annual ART-IN, where students & staff create artwork within that 24-hour period. Art pieces created will go up for sale at the event's reception on May 1st, 2010. Stephanie & Eric

I had the pleasure of doing a shoot with Stephanie & Eric and their baby to be. It was so much fun! Stephanie painted an amazing mural for baby to be which I made sure to include in some photos. Stephanie and Eric are a great couple, I'm looking forward to meeting little Ayla!
